Broke or Bespoke is a dark-comic field guide to the wealth horseshoe — the geometry that bends the very rich and the very poor toward each other until, from the right angle, their lives make the same picture.

It is not a claim that the lives are the same. They are not. The rich pay a fortune to escape the consumerism they built. The poor were never let inside it. The horseshoe is what happens when a chosen exit and a lifelong circumstance arrive, from opposite directions, at the same porch.

Each lot in the compendium is one small comedy about that coincidence — a habit, an object, or a way of living that is sold twice: once as poverty, once as liberation, with the middle class paying admission to both shows.

We are not here to flatter the rich, romanticize the poor, or lecture the middle. We are here to notice the punchline out loud.
